iPhone and iPad setup

Tap Copy iOS code.
Open Shortcuts and create a new shortcut.
Add Run JavaScript on Webpage, then replace its example code with the copied code.
Open the shortcut details, enable Show in Share Sheet, and limit its input to Safari webpages.
Open any page in Safari, use Share, then choose the shortcut.

The generated version automatically calls Apple’s required completion() handler.

About security policies: hosted mode gives you one central file that updates for everyone, but it adds an external script request that many strict sites refuse. Embedded mode removes that extra request and is usually the safer choice, although browsers and individual sites can still restrict bookmarklet execution.
